The mission of the NDCC
The National Dance Council of Canada is a not-for-profit organization acting as umbrella for both the Canadian DanceSport Federation (CDF). The NDCC represents Canada on the World Dance Council, one of the oldest organizations worldwide. The WDC, through its members, govern all aspects of ballroom dance activities including competitions and ballroom dance development and education. The NDCC sanctions competitions organized within Canada. The NDCC also registers amateurs to compete in NDCC recognized events in Canada and all WDC events throughout the world.
The NDCC is the sole Canadian member body at the World Dance Council, the world’s premier professional dance organization.
