The National Dance Council of Canada (NDCC) is proud to support Canadian couples and individuals who will represent Canada at the World Amateur Championships in Assen. We recognize the challenges of high travel costs and are making funds available to eligible Canadian competitors. Some conditions apply.
Travel Support Available for Canadian dancers
Financial assistance will be provided to eligible dancers under the following conditions:
- Each partner/ person must hold a current NDCC Competitor’s Card in good standing.
- Dancers must have competed in the NDCC Canadian National Championships in the same calendar year.
Application Process
Eligible dancers must submit a travel support request in writing to the NDCC Secretary. Requests must include:
- Full names of competitors requesting the financial assistance, along with their NDCC card numbers.
- Event details (division and category) entered at the WDC World Championships.
- Proof of participation and placement at the most recent National Championships held in Gatineau.
Funding Disbursement
Travel support amounts will be determined by NDCC based on division and placement. All funds will be disbursed after participation in the World Championships is complete and we are able to confirm that participation took place.
